CERN, Guidestones, 5 Major Disaster and Sunspots; Try Not to Worry Too Much

As if there are not enough things to think about and try to avoid worrying about, here are some other things to mull over as to their significance.

CERN

With all the hoopla about global warming and climate change; isn’t it interesting that in August a project known as CERN will start operation in Switzerland. In case you don’t know what CERN is, it may be worth reading up on it. CERN is the most powerful atom-smasher ever built. It is buried more than 300 feet underground and consists of a track 17 miles in circumference and cost 5.8 billion dollars to build. In many respects it is a huge amusement park for scientists attempting to prove and disprove theories in physics of no use whatsoever to most people.

There is concern that when this contraption gets fully powered up, it might just burn a hole through the earth and vaporize it. There are some who believe the thing has already been in operation and caused the volcano in Chile earlier this year. Whether this is true or not, this “toy” is not something which should be dismissed as harmless fun for bored scientists. We better hope and pray that the vehement denials by all parties that CERN could not possibly do any damage to earth are legitimate. If the scientists end up being wrong, I guess global warming will be the least of our concerns.

GEORGIA GUIDESTONES

In Elbert County, Georgia is found a granite artifact sometimes referred to as the “American Stonehenge”. Six granite slabs almost twenty feet tall and weighing more than 100 tons with a capstone on top. This unusual artifact is known as the Georgia Guidestones for engraved in it is a message consisting of ten universal guidelines written in 8 modern languages, plus a shorter message on top in 4 ancient languages. The five upright slabs along with the capstone are astronomically aligned.

The monument was created by an esoteric Christian group who identify with the Rosicrucian movement. I am not about to get into this movement, but suffice it to say it is extremely controversial and mysterious to its very roots. Some very influential world leaders have been aligned with offshoots of this group and it represents what to many is the very description and definition of the Antichrist’s kingdom coming to this earth. This group ulitimately leads one to the Illuminati.

Here are the ten universal guidelines:

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature*

Guide reproduction wisely – improving fitness and diversity.

Unite humanity with a living new language.

Rule passion – faith – tradition – and all things with tempered reason.

Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.

Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a one world court

Avoid petty laws and useless officials.

Balance personal rights with social duties.

Prize truth – beauty – love – seeking harmony with the infinite.

Be not a cancer on the earth – Leave room for nature – Leave room for nature.

The very first one presents quite a problem for us since there are well over 6 and ½ billion people on this earth at the moment. To accomplish the number one guideline, 6 billion people would have to die. Not a pleasant thing to think about is it.

5 DISASTERS HEADING FOR THE UNITED STATES

These are all possible disasters which could greatly impact the United States. Some of these are very well known and some are unknown by all but the real scientists in this country. Needless to say there is little that can be done to prevent these things from happening other than prayer. It is interesting to see that there are possible huge disasters which could impact just about every part of this country. For those with unending curiosity about natural disasters, this is a fascinating article.

LACK OF SUNSPOTS SIGNALS GLOBAL COOLING

While the vast majority of scientists and concerned citizens of the world are obsessed with the looming warming that is supposed to happen to this earth; there are some scientists who are far more concerned about the lack of sunspots which should be happening, but are not. Without going into a scientific discussion of sunspot activity cycles and their meaning; suffice it to say there is growing concern about the lack of activity even unto the present.

While many lay awake at night worrying about rising ocean levels and melting sea ice, they should be worrying about glaciers overtaking Canada and short growing seasons in the United States and Europe. Most people do not know that in 1816 northern Europe, eastern Canada and much of the northern United States had a year with no summer. Crops failed and millions died because of a dramatic cooling which took place.

This was all due to one volcano, Mt. Tambora, erupting in what is current day Indonesia. There were heavy snows in June, ice in the rivers of Pennsylvania in July and food shortages everywhere. The biggest volcanic eruption the world had seen in 1600 years caused more damage to the earth’s population at the time than all the exhaust fumes from every vehicle ever could. Perhaps we should consider praying for the sun to hurry up and get busy spotting again.

At any moment of time this world could change suddenly and all of us living on it would be forced to change too. What if we suddenly lost all that we take for granted and the conveniences that we never think about not having were useless and worthless. Could we still live the more abundant life without television, air conditioning and computers? Could we still live in a state of perfect peace without automobiles, cell phones and text messages?

Our grandparents and great grandparents did, for they never knew anything else. Could we, who have tasted of the sweet wine of modern convenience and technology step back in time, if we had to, and be happy without any of it? God is supposed to be our sufficiency and His grace, mercy, love and peace are supposed to be what make our lives worth living. Once in awhile it is good to stop and consider how temporal our material possessions really are and how our real life should not consist of material things which we possess, but the eternal spiritual things given to us by God.

Of Leaky Rowboats and Messiah Politics

I feel like a person far out in the lake in a rowboat when a leak suddenly develops in the boat.  It is too far to the shore and the water is too cold to swim in.  There is nothing to plug the leak with and there is no one else around to offer help.  This description of “helplessness” defines the present state of the United States of America.

I have never, in my 55 years on this earth, seen such a disgusting series of events take place as I have witnessed in the year 2008.  There appears to be an agenda being pushed upon us all which no one is capable of stopping or even wants to.  We are being daily conditioned to accept certain things to be true, whether they are or not.  We are daily being told what to believe, who to believe and if we don’t believe the dire consequences.

Whether dealing with the environment, oil, war or the economy; there is a growing realization that either no one knows what the hell is going on or it makes no difference if anyone does, for it is going to happen anyway.  There appears to be a systematic plan being carried out to first confuse and then indoctrinate the masses as to what they are supposed to believe if they are good citizens.

Take for instance the speech before Congress yesterday by Mr. Hansen who started the “Climate Change” movement twenty years ago.  He can somehow have the right to stand up and advocate hauling heads of corporations to courts to be charged with high crimes against humanity; but if the other side of the environmental argument did the same, they would be removed and thrown in jail.

Never have I seen a movement of any kind take off like the climate change movement.  Never have I seen an idea become so deeply rooted and grounded without absolute data to back it up as this movement.  Honest scientists know there is much room for doubt as to many of the reasons stated for the supposed turn to warming this planet is headed for.  Many very good scientists believe that contrary to warming, we are heading to a period of cooling on this earth.

The point is that the issue is far from being resolved.  It is still an open argument which needs to be debated and worked on together instead of one side demanding everyone believe they are right.  In any category, the minute one side assumes this position, there is going to be trouble.  Honest discussion of an issue ceases the minute one side assumes they are right and nothing will change their mind.

The same thing is happening with oil and the economy.  Instead of putting heads together and figuring out solutions; there is nothing but the same old political “I’m right and you are wrong” attitude coming from all parties.  Until and unless those who are supposed to be educated and trained in these matters honestly come together and seek solutions; the pre-set plans of those calling the shots will happen unhindered.

Isn’t it amazing the absolute power the Federal Reserve Board has over determining the direction an entire country’s economy is going?  Isn’t it amazing that a Board which no branch of government controls, can steer a mighty country whichever direction it wants it to go and no one can stop them? 

One of the scariest scenarios I have heard recently was one of nationalizing the oil and gas industries.  If people do not wake up and see what is coming, one of these days they will realize there is no freedom left in the United States of America for everything has been nationalized (socialized).  When the day comes that our health care system is nationalized, our banks and financial companies are run by the government and our oil and gas companies are government agencies; maybe then people will figure out that it was all a mistake.

The heir apparent for the office of President of this country has let it be known that when elected there will be great change in this land.  The government will save the country.  Massive government sponsored employment will come.  Government sponsored training and education will come.  Government hand outs of all kinds to “help” people will come.  And yes, government health care, gasoline, crops, insurance, and financials will come too.

We are presented with the worst of all choices this election year.  We can either vote for pure 100% socialism or pure 100% hypocrisy and greed.  No matter who wins the election this fall, this country will never be the same.  Freedoms we have cherished for generations will be lost, personal liberty will perish and “Big Brother” will become infinitely more intrusive in our daily lives. 

We are truly out in the middle of the lake in a leaky boat with no one to save us from our folly.  In many respects, the best thing we can do is simply pray.  Pray to be ready for the inevitable disaster soon to overtake us.  Pray to be ready to meet our Creator and pray that past foolishness will be forgiven and forgotten. 

I think I will have a bumper sticker made which reads:  “Jesus for Messiah”.  No man, no matter how great he is, can lay claim to the title “Messiah”.  No man and no political party or platform is able to save this country from what it has gotten itself into.  We need to individually let Jesus be our Messiah and not some Politian who claims to have all the answers that lead to bliss and utopia. 

Every four years we have men parade around for months and months claiming to be able to solve all the problems confronting this country.  Every four years we find out no man can be the Messiah of the United States of America.  There is but one Messiah and His name is Jesus and only HE can save us from ourselves.

 

Floods; The Result of Man’s Foolishness and Greed.

Back in 1993 when the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers flooded it was called a 500 year flood.  Fifteen years later the Mississippi River is breaking the records set in 1993, and it is called a 500 year flood.  Now, I am no math major, but when did 15 years become equal with 500?  Obviously something is amiss in the calculations or descriptions of what constitutes a true 500 year flood.

To begin with, who is around that could honestly document what the Mississippi River did in 1493 or 1508?  Columbus did not “discover” America until 1492.  Did he send scouts to the Mississippi River to document the great flood going on then?  My point is that no one knows when the last time the river flooded the way it did fifteen years ago or now, for there were no people keeping records until the early 1800’s.

Logic dictates that “back in the day” before man in his great wisdom started building towns along river banks and then started erecting levees to protect those towns, when it rained a lot the river simply expanded into the flood plain.  Every river has a plain where it spreads out during times of floods.  The only good thing about flood plains is that the ground is extremely fertile and grows excellent crops.  Flood plains were never intended to be turned into sub-divisions and shopping malls.

Many years ago, farmers who reaped the benefits of the fertile flood plains during non flood years decided to put up levees to give them more years to grow crops.  Every now and then, the river would still flood and break the levees and flood the farmland.  Either farmers lived with the risk and made do or put up higher levees.  Soon they found that they could withstand all but the mightiest of floods.

Cities also decided to quit dealing with floods and put up cement levees and flood walls to protect themselves from major flooding.  River commerce got in the act and put up locks and dams to allow barges to make it up and down the river whether it was high or low.  What was once a great river with plenty of room to spread out to during floods has been turned into a tunnel with amazing flow strength during times of floods. 

I live near the St. Louis, Missouri area where the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers meet.  On either side of both rivers are bluffs.  Over the centuries the rivers have carved out channels where the vast majority of time the rivers stay.  Usually the bluffs on one side of the river are very steep and go straight down to the river, but on the other side there is a vast flat area which is the flood plain.

One such place is what is known locally as the Chesterfield Valley which is adjacent to the Missouri River in Chesterfield.  Many years ago a levee was put up to protect the valley and business activity boomed.  In 1993 the levee broke and the entire valley was covered with 8 feet of water.  Logic would dictate allowing the river to win and taking down the levees.  Greed does not operate using logic.

The levees were strengthened and made much higher after the 1993 flood.  Assurances have been given that no flood could ever break these levees.  In the fifteen years since the last break, the valley has seen an explosion of business activity.  There are now scores of huge shopping centers, restaurants, high end facilities of every type and many car dealerships.  The amount of money poured into the Chesterfield Valley since 1993 is staggering.

Just downstream from the Chesterfield valley is an area known as “Earth City”.  Again, this area was part of the flood plain years ago but a huge earthen levee was put up (which survived the 1993 flood) and the flood plain was transformed into a mega complex of warehouses, shipping depots and even the practice facility for the St. Louis Rams.  Every UPS package for the entire St. Louis area goes to the facility located in Earth City.

Earth City has grown and expanded and recently a huge Outlet Mall was built in the flood plain along with scores of other retail stores.  Billions of dollars of new construction has taken place since the great flood of 1993.  Fears of flooding are nonexistent due to promises made by those responsible for the levees that no flood could ever break or top them. 

There are places to build and there are places not to build.  Why choose to build on flood plains?  Why not move a little further inland and build there?  Why disrupt nature to accommodate greed? 

The city of New Orleans proved conclusively what can happen when levees fail back in 2005.  Although I have mourned for the loss of life and what the floods did to disrupt lives and livelihood; I have no pity for a city which defies nature and builds itself BELOW SEA LEVEL.  Any city dependent solely upon old weak levees and pumps to survive will surely fail.

One of these days the mighty Missouri River will decide to show Chesterfield and Earth City who is still the boss.  One of these days the Missouri River will decide to have a 1,000 year flood a few years after a 500 year one.  One of these days the impact of man erecting levees, dams and other means to “contain” the river will result in a flood with enough flow strength to crush man’s strongest earthen levees.  One of these days, the mega business centers built foolishly in flood plains will become nothing but a few taller buildings sticking out of a sea of water.

Man is 100% responsible for the damage being done by the current flooding.  Foolish building policies and even more foolish attempts to reign in rivers have resulted in 500 year floods coming every 15 years.  As bad as it is out here in the Midwest, the problem is even worse in the Northeast.  Due to construction of dams, the major rivers such as the Delaware are bound to experience flooding soon every bit as bad as the current flooding on the Mississippi. 

The foolishness and greed of man is ultimately no match for the power of nature.  Whether torrential rains a hurricane or melting snow and ice; sooner or later rivers do as they were put on this earth to do—provide a means to get rid of excess water.  Unfortunately man has hopelessly screwed up the way nature intended to do this so now man pays the price each time nature has to get rid of his foolishness to do its job.

SCAMMED in the Name of Charity; Our Sick World

I watched in horror as it rained relentlessly this spring throughout the upper Midwest and Ohio River valley.  This came after a winter with record breaking snows in some of the same areas.  When snow melts, it produces water.  The rivers had been running high since March.  Now they are at record levels.  I honestly feel badly for those whose lives are being turned upside down by floods, tornadoes and other natural disasters.  Everything within me wanted to help, but the funds were not there to personally do much of anything.

A week ago, while on the road delivering supplies to needy groups, I received an unsolicited e-mail from a person overseas who knew of me and what I was doing and wanted to help.  This person said she was dying of cancer and the doctors had put her in hospice.  She was trying to hide her assets from greedy step-children and honor the wishes of her deceased husband which was to open a huge charity/foundation for disadvantaged people with an emphasis on medical care and vocational training.

This person offered a huge amount of money to start this foundation with the stipulation it had to be used for charity except for 5% to cover my trouble in setting it all up.  The money was to come to me by way of an inheritance upon her soon decease.  I of course was very skeptical of the message and responded with short messages explaining I was on the road.  I checked the person out from every angle available to me.  There was absolutely nothing amiss.

Of course I was susceptible to this at the current time.  Right when I was thinking I could do nothing to help other groups directly helping those hurt by the storms and floods I have an offer of millions of dollars dropped in my lap.  I allowed myself to think it was “God” supplying a need and once I did, my ability to objectively look at the situation vanished.

Monday morning I received a message from a bank in Liverpool, UK with instructions for handling the inheritance.  I checked everything out, and it all appeared legit.  I called a lawyer friend to confirm that the requests were genuine when dealing with an overseas inheritance.  He said everything was being done exactly correct. 

Everything within me wanted this to completely genuine.  Everything within me simply wanted there to be the means to provide much needed funding to various small groups trying to help others.  I knew the risks and weighed the pros and cons of following through with the instructions and decided it was worth the risk just in case this whole thing was God’s way providing for His people.  With little trepidation I sent a copy of my driver’s license and an account number to a bank account.

Almost immediately after sending this information I felt that feeling deep inside one feels when they have just done the stupidest thing they ever did in life.  I wanted so badly to press the key on the keyboard that is not there; the “I want to take it back” key.  I knew within a minute of sending the information I had screwed up even though I had no verifiable proof.

As soon as this happened I prayed and did another search on the internet and buried deep on page 5 of a search I found a troubling thing.  On a page dealing with scams, someone was writing about the exact same thing I had just been through earlier this year.  Obviously no one listened nor did anyone do anything about it for I had just fallen prey to the same scam.

Once I took off my rose colored glasses and honestly looked at the e-mails I had received, I began to see small discrepancies I had not noticed before.  I raced to the bank and closed the account which I had sent the number to.  The bank manager, who I know quite well, just shook his head when he looked at some of the documents and said they were 100% the work of scammers.  Thankfully they had not yet withdrawn the funds we were sure they were about to do.

Upon leaving the bank I was left with the depressing realization that I had voluntarily sent a copy of my driver’s license to people who were about to use the information on it to either steal my identity or destroy me financially.  I felt like I had taken all my clothes off and was standing in the middle of the highway. 

I called the State Attorney General’s office and explained the situation.  They suggested I bring all the correspondence to their office (100 miles away).  Yesterday morning I went there and to various other offices and found out there was nothing they could do since the scammers were obviously out of the country.  Even though my social security number is not on my driver’s license, I was told all the horrible things that will probably happen as my license is duplicated and sold to criminal interests. 

My cell phone and land lines received about 50 calls from these people starting at noon yesterday.  They relentlessly called every few minutes, obviously upset about the account being closed.  My cell phone has been turned off since yesterday afternoon and the land line disconnected.  Even though I sent these crooks an e-mail telling them I was onto to their scam and that I had turned the case over to the Attorney General’s Office; I have no idea what will come next.

As upset with myself as I am over this, I know I did the right thing to close the account and take the situation to the state’s highest legal authorities.  I can do nothing but pray about the driver’s license situation and the release of personal contact information to unscrupulous people.  Through this ongoing ordeal I am left with one overwhelming question:  How could I be so stupid?

Why am I sharing this with you?  Because I do not want anyone to have to go through what I have the past two days.  I don’t want anyone to have to worry about identity theft and losing their assets and their good name.  I don’t want anyone else to fall for something that looks 100% legitimate on the outside, only to find out it was all a lie. 

Listen, I am 55 years old and have lectured groups on protecting themselves from scams.  I had never fallen for one in my life.  I feel like the biggest creep on this planet that I would allow my personal desire to help others to blind me to an attempt to totally ruin me.  I cannot believe I could be so stupid to not see what was happening.  All I know is that I so wanted it to be true, I made it true in my own mind.  This ladies and gentlemen is called DECEPTION.

Please remember what has been said countless times; “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t”.  In my case I have had to learn this the hard way.
